Who we are

Verdant was created in 2024 by Kaleb Thomas. Kaleb first fell in love with the houseplant hobby during the darker days of 2020. He began with a few small succulents and eventually expanded his collection to include over 150 individual species. A 6 year career in sales and marketing equipped Kaleb to fuse his passions for botany and his business acumen to originate Verdant! Having designed and maintained indoor gardens for dining locations and coffee shops, Kaleb is thrilled to share his love of natural beauty with you (and your space)!

Currently, he is obsessed with the Hoya species and says his favorite plant at the moment is the Hoya Globulosa Cao Bang. Beyond just plants, he also enjoys making coffee, writing music, and is an avid cat-lover with four furry children of his own: Bimini, Bonet, Lemon, and Lulu.
